If you were not able to upload your first assignment via this website or you experienced an error while attempting to upload the first assignment to the webserver (karr.cs.up.ac.za), then please see the TechTeam in the CS corridor (enquire at the reception desk) and make sure that you do have an account for both the CS website and the COS216 webserver.

Ensure that you resolve this issue before the second assignment deadline, as no exceptions will be made at that point or in the future.

Practical Assignment 1 - Additional Remarks

Posted By: Mr Ronald Klazar on 27 Feb 2013, 11:33
Since I have spoken to some of you individually and then to the English class about this, here are my comments repeated for everybody's benefit:

1. You must use frame sets for the HTML 4.01 part of the assignment.

2. You should use something other than frame sets for the HTML 5 part, as frame sets are obsolete in the version 5 specification.

3. You may find some hints about the CSS parts of the assignment in the CSS III slides.

Friday Tutorial Change of Venue
