Extra tutorial sessions

We have made arrangement for extra tutorial sessions. Please see your class rep for more information. Note that the maximum number of students that will be allowed in each session is 30 and you are required to book for a session ahead. Also, the extra tutorial sessions are designed to answer your questions and they are extra lectures so please come with your questions or problem area. Thanks.

Collection of tutorials

Dear students, you are reminded to collect your tutorials from the foyer of the Science Bldg (bldg where my office is located). However, PLEASE do not leave the Foyer in a mess!!! Take all the scripts from below the index alphabet, find all your scripts, then return the entire pile NEATLY to behind the index. In this way, everybody will be able to find their scripts. PLEASE DO NOT BE SELFISH and think of all other students who also need to find their work! Thanx. SN.

Uploading Assignment 2 (BIS and BSIT students)

Dear students, please note that once you have uploaded the assignment, do NOT hand in a hard copy (printed copy) of the assignment. I will definitely find your assignment and print if from the uploaded copy. Thus, PLEASE do not duplicate the hand-in process as it becomes very confusing. Thanx. SN.

Dear students, tutorials five to eight are now ready for collection in the foyer of the Science Bldg. I appeal to you to please take your tutorials and not to scatter the other copies. Please keep the foyer area in a NEAT and TIDY manner. Your co-operation in this matter will really be appreciated.

Furthermore, when you compare your mark with the mark schedule and it differs, please don't panic .......

Just PLEASE bring your copy to my office and I will amend the mark immediately!!! (obviously after I have checked that you have not altered the mark yourself). Thanx. SN

Dear students, please note that the option to upload Assignment Two is only given to the BSIT and BIS Multimedia students as they have a password for this portal which allows them to upload their work.

Unfortunately, BCOM students will have to post a hardcopy (printed copy) of their assignment, in the box labelled with my name (S Naidoo) in the foyer of the Science Bldg. Thanx. SN

Dear students, there have been 'gremlins' at work with regard to a pile of Assignment One's! These have simply 'disappeared' into thin air! Hence, I have to now make a decision with regard to these assignments and have decided to give ALL students who have scored ten and below, the opportunity to re-submit.

If you are going to take advantage of this opportunity, PLEASE note that it must be handed in by Monday, 7 May 2012 by 15:00.

If you fail to read this notice and miss this opportunity, then the loss is yours.
