Standard Bank IT Challenge: Congratulations to the CS Team!

On Saturday, 14 March 2009, four teams from our department battled it out against thirty-two teams from other South African universities in the local heats of the Standard Bank IT Challenge. It was a gruelling challenge but tons of fun!
The team consisting of Rudi Penzhorn, Dolan Paul, Laurette Pretorius and Hanno Combrinck won the local heat and will take part in the finals hosted by Standard Bank in Johannesburg during April. We wish you all the best!
Congratulations to all the UP teams. They made us proud. Thanks also to Ms Marshall and Mr Kohn in our department for coordinating the event at Tukkies.
