Computer Science students honoured at the SIT Prize Giving Ceremony

On 20 May 2010, the top Computer Science students from 2009 were honoured at the annual School of Information Technology Prize Giving Ceremony. The best Computer Science students in their respective years of study, each received a trophy and there were also a number of prizes sponsored by AfriGIS, Dariel Solutions, EPI-USE, Grintek Ewation and Microsoft. We are proud to announce that this time, a Computer Science student, Mr Pedro de Souza, was awarded the best student at undergraduate level over three years of study in the whole School of Information Technology. Congratulations!

The best overall third year student in Computer Science (prize sponsored by AfriGIS): Mr M Fouche

The best Software Engineering third year Computer Science group project (sponsored by Grintek Ewation):
