George is a Zambian citizen who started his career as an economist in Information Systems and Technologies. He worked for some of the biggest mining companies in Zambia before transitioning to computer science. He obtained his honors and masters degree (with distinction) at the University of Pretoria and thereafter worked as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and IT at Mulungushi University, a public university in Zambia. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on transfer learning in evolutionary algorithm spaces and the application of ML techniques in optimization. George is passionate about sharing knowledge, fueling innovation, and contributing to the ever-evolving landscape of computer science, especially in the field of AI/ML. In his spare time, he enjoys gyming, playing chess, tennis, and soccer.
