Gisele has completed her BSc, BSc Hons in Computer Science and Masters with distinction and is currently working on her PhD. Her research is focused on multimodal learning for classification and regression problems as well as optimisation and automated design using hyper heuristics. She is also currently employed as a research assistant for Nelishia Pillay at the University of Pretoria. Overall, she is passionate about many different areas in machine learning and enjoys using machine learning in combination with work in other scientific fields.
